I really loved fruits basket, both the anime and the manga. I just finished the manga all the way up to chapter 136. JUST GREAT.
I would love if they remade the anime and included EVERYTHING. It just depressed me the way the anime ended.

I have to agree that Death Note wouldn't work well as an anime unless they change it completely. Somehow, I don't like the idea of Densha Otoko as an anime. After watching the JDrama version, the anime wouldn't seem as real and not as powerful.

Actually, someone pointed out to me that if Deathnote DID become an anime, it'd be quite boring. With cuts of "Kira" and "L" thinking and talking to the screen for hours on end, you might start to doze off a bit...

Ha ha, I'd also like a Negima remake. As a kentaku, I was very appalled after watching the first few episodes. If I wasn't told that the ending was VERY good, I wouldn't have forced myself to continue on.

Here here! I don't see how Yotsubato! could possibly go wrong, and I would so love to see it made into an anime series. A good port of Death Note would be nice too, so that I wouldn't have to read all those really long texty portions =D. Negima was definitely flawed and I would be scared to give a second anime version a chance... but Fruits Basket really badly needs fixed ending-OVA!
