To Heart 2: Episode 1
First episode!
This is one of the rare times that I will pick substance over style. I didn't care too much about the animation quirks, because the pace of this anime is rather good. Also, the anime would seem to be treating the girls as the main focus rather than the guy. So having this from the girls' point of view, more character development may be seen as a result. Yes, it's like going back to the original To Heart style, nice.

Game - The graduation event
In the game, they were not allowed inside school premises after graduation, but they did go in this time. Reminiscing middle-school memories, plus having the graduation scenes makes Konomi's loneliness all the more believable, moreso than the game version.

Actually, in the game we never get to see the three of them having dinner together. Showing this would imply how close Takaaki is to Konomi and her mother. Plus the fact that he picks her up every morning.

Game - The sleepover event
The scary movie event is oh so cute! Konomi is oh so cute! In bed, Konomi talked about her graduation troubles, and how Takaaki made her ease up a bit by praising her cooking and saying that her new uniform is a fit. It's quite different as opposed to the game, where they were talking nonsense. So far the two really have a sibling relationship.
Finally, as sort of teaser, Manaka had a few lines, and was seen from afar.
I hope this anime would last for more than 13 episodes, but it's kinda unlikely. If I'm right, the format will be one girl per episode, and maybe another one for the main girls like Konomi or Tamaki. By the way, Tamaki is up next, so the legions of Tama-nee fans should rejoice next week.
